I am part of the Junior Research Group: Numerics of PDEs and, in my PhD project, I work on the numerical (and analytical) homogenization of wave equations in highly heterogeneous media. A particular focus lies on accurately capturing long-term effects using numerical multiscale methods and computing them efficiently and in a stable manner.
